| 1. Training Courses in Kuwait:. |

| 1- Specialized autism diploma: |
| - For the first time in Middle East, Kuwait Center for Autism by
Cooperation with the Institute of Education in London -the adherent
to one of the deep-rooted universities in England (The University
of London), organized a "Specialized Autism Diploma". This program
attended by specialists from different sectors in Kuwait and GCC e.g.
the ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, Khalifa school, Dasman
Modern school, The mother of Prince Faisal Bin Fahd Center for Autism
in Riyadh, and the private education center in Al-Damam. |
| - The program presented on three phases and the attendants submitted
their Final researches in April, with other advanced to the program
in England, and the acceptance results will declare in September.

| - The passing of this program equals to 20 scores from the Advanced
diploma in Psychology. |

| 2. Training Courses Outside Kuwait:. |
| |
| - Kuwait Center for Autism hold many training courses and specialized
workshops in GCC to contribute in opening Autism schools and centers
in GCC e.g. Al-Gobil, Al-Damam, Riyadh, Qatar, Bahrain, Shareqa and
Abu Dhabi. |

| - There is Training and supervision cooperation between Kuwait Center
for autism and Riyadh Center for Autism, by which Kuwait center for
Autism supervises on the training of the teaching Dept, Students'
program and follow-up the work in the center classes in Riyadh through
seasonal visits in the school year 2000/01. Now, Kuwait Center for
autism preparing a supervision and training program for an autism
Center in Qatar and other in KSA during the next school year. |

| - Kuwait Center for Autism by cooperation with hereditary diseases
Center offers assessment and Diagnosing services to the children from
GCC States through reserving them a time in the Center. |

| - Kuwait Center for autism trains a number of teachers and specialists
e.g. the teachers of the Intellectual education Schools and the Dept
of the private education Schools in the Ministry of Education in KSA. |

| - Kuwait Center for Autism offers training grants-in-aid to some
teachers from Gulf States for a school year or term in the center,
this as a contribution in opening autism classes e.g. the training
grant-in-aid granted for the teachers of Al-Wafaa Center in Bahrain. |

| - Kuwait Center for autism hosts Gulf & Arab Delegations to look
up the training program of the center and benefit from it as a successful
experiment in the field of serving the Autistic children e.g. The
visit of Libyan delegation from Qurtoba Center for the persons-in
-needs to Kuwait Center for Autism. |

| 3. Conferences & High studies:. |

| - Under the Suspicion of the HH First vice Prime Minister and the
Minister of Foreign Shiekh / Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Kuwait
Center for Autism, Kuwait Center for Autism organized The first international
Conference for Autism and Communication deficit in Middle East during
the period Feb., 14-16, 2000. This Conference considers as scientific
Phenomena collected the various segments of the society from specialists,
parents and students. Through the conference Specialists and International
Experts presented a dense scientific program that includes morning
lectures, and five evening specialized workshops. |

| - The Conference attended by about 750 Persons whom contributed
in the morning and evening programs. |
| |
| - Kuwait Center for Autism organized the first education and artistic
tools exhibition as one of the conference effectivities, which contributed
by many authorities in Kuwait and Gulf Area. As we dedicated a corner
for recognizing with The Kuwait prisoners of War Issue by the contribution
of the National Committee for Prisoners of War and Losts. |
