The Objects of Kuwait Center for Autism:
 
The Project Philosophy:
Kuwait Center for Autism cares of aware on all International theories and philosophies of Autism Centers worldwide and contacting with all Arab and Foreign universities and Institutes which concern with Autism training programs. Then we adapt a philosophy that includes international theories and grafted them by Islamic tinting and ensuring the Kuwaiti personality. These Philosophies depend on the following theories:
 
1. Behavior adjustment theory.
2. Sensuality Integration Theory.
3. Auditory training theory
4. Organizing Education.
5. Following-up the new treatment interventions and its application possibilities.
6. Preparing for puberty and youth stages.
7. Find suitable future professions help them in self-depending.
8. We put all these objects in an educational program work to develop the child abilities and enhance his/her skills through learning. This program also work to strong the following poor points of the autistic person:
 
1. Communication.
2. Social Relations.
3. Self-confidence
4. Develop the School and House environments to appropriate his/her poor points.
5. Seasonal measuring and assessing of his/her abilities through individual training.
6. Concentrate on Islamic education and Arabic language.
 
Kuwait Center for Autism work to achieve many objects as the following:
 
1- Ensure a special educational program to face the child behavior difficulties by providing an organized integrated educational environment that enable child from achieving his/her goals, enhance his/her comprehensive, social and educational abilities, this with considering individuals differences, support special abilities and hobbies and concentrating on how to merge them with society.
2- To be a specialized research center and by the cooperation with Kuwait University- Faculty of Medicine, Kuwait Center for Autism Prepares the Autism specialized studies and researches.
3- Prepare the specialized and trained cadres to deal with Autistic persons through a dense and continuous training program which includes lectures, developed workshops and local & abroad courses, this in addition to hosting program of Autism specialists & Experts from Arab and Foreign countries.
4- Inform Kuwaiti society with autism through the cultural informative seminars, Conferences and presenting movies. This in addition to present Books and Issues in Arabic to enable parents and autism specialists & researchers to get information about autism, Its characteristics and how to deal with it?
5- Support Voluntary works (May by efforts, Time or money) with people-in-need class in Kuwait.
6- Training parents through open meetings to aware them and answer their questions. By practical training on how to deal with their Autistic children; open the way to individual consultations field under security and specialty and following-up their children individual programs attending the educational programs, lectures and workshops which done by International experts.
 
Also the short age of the center, But it takes a supreme position among the Kuwait scientific centers.
